In 1991, Sheryl Lee Ralph created DIVAS Simply Singing! as a living memorial to the many friends she lost to AIDS as an original company member of Dreamgirls on Broadway. Over the past 31 years, DIVAS! has brought together iconic and legendary talent to stand in solidarity and raise their voices in the fight to erase stigma around HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses.


As The D.I.V.A. Foundation continues its tireless work in partnership with global organizations towards the goal of ending the HIV epidemic, DIVAS Simply Singing! Is centered and its purpose and mission to educate, entertain, and raise the consciousness and awareness around individual and collective community health.
